It whispers that you’re a guest in a place you’ve built with your own hands. It tells you to play small so no one notices you feel out of place.And fear? Fear is its favorite sidekick. It shows up before big presentations, important meetings, and even small conversations where I know I have something valuable to say. I’ve felt my voice catch, my heart race, and my mind race faster, wondering if I’m about to get “found out.”But here’s what I’ve learned: fear is just a signal that something matters to me. And imposter syndrome loses its grip when I remind myself that I’m not here by accident. I’m here because I’ve worked, learned, stumbled, and still decided to show up again.So if you’ve ever felt like you don’t belong, let me tell you—your presence here is no accident. You belong.
